For the treatment of disc injuries, we are proud to announce that Dunn Chiropractic Clinic has both The Antalgic Trak system and The 3-D Trak system. These machines can create traction forces that can decompress the injured disc. It is non-invasive, safe, FDA approved and has an 85% success rate. This technology has allowed Dr. Ray Saeedpour to specialize in the treatment of disc related conditions such as disc bulges or herniations, disc degeneration, sciatica, spinal stenosis/arthritis, spondylolisthesis and facet syndrome. Our practice also specializes in treating a variety of conditions from chronic low back pain, neck pain, arm/hand/wrist and leg pain, carpel tunnel, foot/ankle pain, TMJ, headaches and rehabilitation following an accident or injury. Your spine consists of a column of 24 movable bones known as vertebrae. Situated between each vertebrae is a fibrous covered disc with a jelly-like center. Each disc acts like a shock absorber within the spine. Sometimes, these discs dislodge spontaneously. Trauma to the spine can also cause a disc to dislodge from its proper position. This phenomenon is referred to as a disc herniation. When a disc herniates, it often places pressure on spinal nerve roots, thereby causing severe pain. We can help and Dr. Saeedpour can determine if you are a candidate for the Antalgic Trak or 3-D Trak treatment. He would be glad to discuss your options with you in person, over the phone or with your Physician. Difficult cases might require an MRI, CT Scan, Labs, or injections, all of which will be explained and coordinated by our office.
